I'm a member of a local credit union and I've noticed their mobile app needs some love . There are multiple things that confuse me and I wish were different. So for fun, I've been reimaging the app. I don't have access to the credit union's data or why they made their design decisions. The choices I've made are based off my design knowledge and my personal preferences.

I have 2 main concerns while using the app:
The first thing I wanted to do was to see how many items were in the app so I completed a content inventory. There were 90 items, 4 levels of navigation, and a lot of duplication. By doing this I was also able to see commonalities and group the content into categories.
After I had a better idea of what information was on the app and how it was grouped, I noticed duplication for multiple items. I started to sketch out different areas the items could live in the app and how to simplify things.
It's a work in progress, but I have begun working on a mockup for how the app could look. First is the log in screen. I wanted to make it simple and clean.

Still to be completed are the home screen, accounts screen, checking accounts, and navigation.
